Lily loves the Air & Space Museum down on the Mall, so our trek out to the
Udvar-Hazy Center (basically, a ginormous airplane hanger filled with Smithsonian treasures too large for the main museum) was very long-overdue.
Reliving my space camp days, as J. liked to say... but seriously, check how the sheer size of Enterprise!
Lily got to "fly" a Cessna... not the mere sit-in kind like at the main museum, but there was a volunteer who showed her about pitch, yaw and other maneuvers.
Lily was pretty psyched...
