Lily spent a great couple of days with her Grandma and Grandpa... and made the most of having them push her on the swings today!

Strawberry Picking

Sunday was supposed to be rainy, so we were pleasantly surprised to wake up to sunny weather. We took Lily to pick strawberries in the morning (which took a lot less time than it did last year!). Grandma and Grandpa helped Lily find the really good ones...

Paco the Pony... the next Seattle Slew?

Meet Paco, Lily's new rocking horse. Actually, Jer and I almost forgot that we had hidden this last present away in our basement, but remembered yesterday right before Lily went to bed.


Although Lily still doesn't seem convinced that Paco makes a better ride than her Grandpa...

Big Shoes to Fill

Lily has developed a shoe fetish lately... I think she's picked this up from Josie. Check out her walking around in her Grandpa's shoes.

Seventy degrees in November?

That's right... we got to KC on Monday and enjoyed two days of warm weather. (Today, however, it is 30 degrees. Typical for Kansas City.)

Lily LOVES the three playgrounds that are within walking distance from Grandma and Grandpa's house (And J. and I love that they are so close by!)
