Lily Sings!
Lily is going through the requisite "I'm obsessed with trains" phase of toddler-hood. Check out how exited she gets when the Thomas the Tank Engine theme song comes on. In case you can't tell by the ending, her favorite train is Gordon.

A Day Off!
Since we all had the day off, we figured we'd spend the morning at some of our favorite DC spots - The National Gallery (you can check out the Hopper exhibit online in case you missed it!), one of J. and I's favorites, and the Air & Space Museum, Lily's favorite.
She looks so big here as she's giving her dolly some loving before we head out.
Wait a minute... not so sure about this whole big sister thing!
Stopping for a snack in the concourse of the National Gallery. Lily loves to look at the "Water coming DOWN!!"
Thirty degrees... no problem for Lily.
Lily always talks about the airplanes and rockets at the Space Museum, but she shocked us by shouting out "astronaut!" and "satellite!" and "telescope!" as we were walking around today.

Fun with Mikey & Sarah
We're having a great visit with Mikey & Sarah over the long weekend!
Lily LOVES Sarah... when she woke up this morning, I brought her downstairs and her first question was "Where's Sarah?"
Pretending, for Uncle Mikey's sake, to be an Irish fan yesterday... there battle against the Hoyas didn't go so well.
Yeah, the seats weren't great, but they were $5.

January Updates
It's been cold lately! But Lily can't stand to be inside for very long, so we've been bundling her up for trips to the park. Jeremy and I stand there shivering while she has a blast.

I read the Metro section while Lily eats her breakfast, then she grabs a pen and has her way with the photos in the Post...
One of Lily's teachers put her hair in a ponytail the other day, and it made her look like such a big girl!
